USES OF KASINI
THE METHOD OF USING THE GREEN LEAVES
Crush the green leaves and take the juice of it. When boiled,
it will be sedimented. Filter and use 25ml adding, sugar two times
a day. This is useful in cases of Jaundice, Urinary problems,
Liver problems, Odema, Vomitting, excessive heat etc.
ULCERS IN THE MOUTH
Gargle the mouth with the water boiled with Kasini leaves. This
will help to cure ulcers in the mouth, throat problems etc. Along
with this take 25 ml of sharbath shahathooth.
Grind the green leaves of Kasini in to a paste which can be applied
externally in cases of stomach ache, swellings etc. Also take
25 ml Sharbath Amaltas.
The crushed juice of Kasini if applied on the spot of scorpion
sting, will reduce pain and swelling.
HEADACHE
Crush Kasini leaves and grind it with sandal to make a paste.
Apply this for head ache caused by heat.
To cure cataract, the juice of Kasini leaves can be used as eye
drops (Source : Ibnul Khayyim).
To cure the redness of the eyes the paste of Kasini leaves grinded
in rose water or vinegar should be applied around the eyes.
ARTHRITIS
Kasini leaves grinded with Aradh Javvu and made a paste is useful
for arthritis and pains in the nerves. Kasini leaves can be used
with the daily food or it can be eaten with onion and coriander
leaves. The patients can use the juice of the leaves. It can be
used as an ingredient in the curry preparations. The entire plant
can be dried and decoction can be made from it. It can be used
in the form of powder and capsule. It is also prepared in the
form of sharbayh, lehyas, pills, ointment and oil.
GENERAL BENEFIT
If 60 ml juice of Kasini leaves is taken daily the body secretions
like blood, bile, phlegm, black bile etc will be purified. The
excessive phlegm and bile will be secreted out.
The pain and inflammation of the internal organs like liver, spleen,
colon, gall bladder will be cured by Kasini. It is useful in reducing
the excessive heat of the body. The Juice of Kasini leaves strengthens
stomach. For stomach pain a paste of Kasini leaves is applied
externally.
